Cranky Large Medium reading, 23 November

Go away.

Why have you not yet gone? Can you possibly be imagining that I like having you hanging about while I meditate? What will it take for you to leave me? A reading? Fine, then. Here you are:
You are reckless and wild; so set in your opinions that no amount of reason can shake you. You think yourself honest and exacting, but most people view you as stubborn and unyielding. You should probably learn to ditch that attitude before you try to involve yourself in a romance, or there may be justifiable violence in the future.
Are you happy, now? Of course not. But maybe you will leave on an upbeat, if you take into account that you're far better off than any of these people, all of whom on this date in history took a final downbeat: King Edred of England, King Ladislaus Posthumus of Bohemia and Hungary, Elbridge Gerry, Yusof bin Ishak, Yoriyuki Arima, Walter Reed, Jagdish Chandra Bose, Richard Hakluyt, Richard Graves, Roald Dahl, Agnolo di Cosimo, Claude Lorrain, Thomas Tallis, Judee Sill, Tommy Boyce, Autry DeWalt Mixon, Jr. aka Jr. Walker, Art Porter, Jr., O.C. Smith, Anita O'Day, Louis Malle, Sessue Hayakawa, Klaus Kinski, Merle Oberon, Constance Cummings, Hack Wilson, Bo Belinsky, Frank Gatski, Willie Pep, Joe Kennedy,
and Roy Acuff.

Carry us back to Dixie on the Wabash Cannonball.
Meanwhile, happy birthday, anyway.

Many thanks for putting this together. Reading your post gave me another thought. This is helpful, and I hope we see more such discussion. Thanks for sharing.
