Maybe it's politics, maybe it's just the jumpin'-est tune…

Bit of useless trivia to go along with it: "the baritone with muscles,"Vaughn Monroe (who, sadly, doesn't sing in this particular recording), is said to have given baby boomer singer-songwriter Neil Sedaka his first big break. So, if you hear "Laughter in the Rain" and cringe, you have Monroe partly to thank for its having been played to death in the seventies.
