Earworm of the Day: Those Memories of You - Dick Dale & His Del Tones

Sometimes, I almost forget that there were Del-Tones records with more than just Dick Dale killing it on the guitar, and then one of those tracks comes rolling in on the waves of the morning...

Just a reminder: this was the guy who went to Fender to build a guitar and amp system (the Stratocaster and Fender Showman Amp) that could be heard above screaming crowds, unintentionally making it possible that they could joke about going "to eleven," in This Is Spinal Tap.

But that wasn't needed for this particular song. This one just brings back memories of oldies… and you. You can play this one without cranking it, if you want.

One of his three (consecutive, not simultaneous) wives probably sang backup on this, if that helps put you in a sentimental mood.
