The Noisy Pillow pops up
Mom has posted scanned pages from another of the books I wrote and illustrated for my brother's sons, over at her photoblog. Here is the title page, posted also at no holds bard
LOL I hadn't noticed the resemblance until you mentioned it. Maybe that's why the little monsters liked it so much... Pbbbbbbffffft! (which, coincidentally, is the word verification I needed to type, below)
Really, the big yellow ball is part of an illustrating theme: all the pages of the Oso & Halcon stories I've done have the Zuni sun in them, as well as a few other tribes' icons, to honor their collective ancestors. We're a mixed bunch.

Dare I say that it looks a bit like a whoopy cushion? Is that why it's "noisy"?
