His serene majesty has been kind enough to share his living quarters with his feline and canine kinfolk for the duration of their mom's absence. He is a kind and generous monarch, demonstrated by the fact that he also will not have me rise in his presence... of course, were I to do so, he would lose his soft, cushiony laptop, but that is beside the point, isn't it?

Ed seems healthy and happy, but still misses his own mom, who is away on vacation with his human sister
