File under: Wish I'd thought of this

Mary Katharine Hamm, over at Hugh Hewitt's blog, points out a direction in blogging that I could have used, had I the ingenuity, half a decade ago. My parents had to help me in buying my house, but it seems Kyle MacDonald has chosen to barter his way up from One Red Paperclip to ownership of a house.

Come to think of it, I have a spotted-and-striped paper weight I could part with, and I could use a laptop or a notebook. (just kidding! I've grown too attached to the paperweight.)

I don't know, there is a house on every corner everywhere you go. They are a dime a dozen. A red paper clip on the other hand, now that is something special that you don't come across everyday!
