Last batch before it's a day late and a dollar short

I don't want anybody to get into trouble, so if you're more focused on football than on your favorite person, you may want to take a moment to appreciate what you have right next to you, and remember that long ago, some guy died a miserable death...and tomorrow is the day to remember his martyrdom by handing someone a paper heart and saying, "I love you."

Print out one or two of these, if you want. This batch is all double-sided, so you'll probably have to fiddle with your page layout to make them fit right around the folds and cuts, if you plan to print them out. OTOH, if you simply send out the link to this post, it's possible a deep message will be received. Any way you look at it, though, I hope you appreciate and share what you see. They're from my collection of auction finds, and I don't mind spreading the love.

 St. Valentine's Day. You know it's coming. This year, it's the day after Super Bowl Sunday, so if you're in one of those relationships, you'd better have something in reserve, as an apology for having cheered for the wrong team, or even for simply having watched the seemingly-eternal show for something other than the ads. When in doubt, give your sugar some breakfast in bed and a sweet little card you copied from the internet… 

I wish the original print registration
had been better on this. I feel slightly
hung-over looking at it.

Or, just take a moment to appreciate that these were all given to a schoolboy in the first half of the twentieth century, and he (or someone in his family) kept them all this time, in order for me to acquire them along with a handful of postcards, at an auction, in the first decade or so of the twenty-first century.

Be Mine (more cards for you, for St.Valentine's Day)

 Again, I've been raiding my supply of ephemera acquired during my quest for postcards, scanning & cleaning them to the best of my abilities via P'shop, and submitting them for your perusal. 

Some of them were single images, pretty much the standard one-sided cards like most of us exchanged in school – for those, I didn't think anybody would want to look at pictures of off-white cut-out cards. There's one that has moving parts, and I took it apart to show how it works, so you get both the together and the separate images. The rest were folded cards, so there are two images per card: outside and inside (yeah! lookin' at Valentine guts!).
