Michael Newdow Set To Eliminate ‘In God We Trust’ Motto

It looks as though I received that medal in a timely fashion... according to the blog Stop The ACLU,Michael Newdow Set To Eliminate ‘In God We Trust’ Motto. That moral idiot is trying to erase all record of faith from our history, because, to him, a State acknowledgement that God was part of the daily lives of our founders, of the drafters of the Constitution, is depriving him of his right to not see any mention of said deity.

In essence, he's trying to get the courts to support his own religion: "If I don't believe in it, you can't mention it on a public document. Only my lack of faith counts. I must not be exposed to others' ideas, and those ideas must not be allowed to corrupt the future atheists' minds." What a narrow and rigid perspective this man has! He's more provincial and dogmatic, even, than most of the jihadists.

If he can't live like the rest of us who, even though we don't necessarily believe, can allow for others to express their beliefs and can allow for history to remain true, maybe Europe would be more to his liking. Or, if he must stay, and yet so despises the sight of such statements in print, he can buy everything with plastic, the way most people do, these days. Let those of us who aren't offended by the mention of God (or other such related issues) keep the country and all the cash.
