Cranky Large Medium reading, 2 July

Go away.

When will you be gone from here? Sooner is better than later. In fact, yesterday is better than anything. Why are you still here, again? Oh, of course. You came here for a reading. As if that will help you with your life. But, since that's what you came here for, and that's what will get you to leave, that's what you will have. Here you are :
You are a complete prig. Not only are you unyielding in your scruples, but you are smug about them, too. You have a trace of originality and might have gotten somewhere, had you learned to apply it. You are magnanimous toward your family and friends... what arrogance! Secretly they want to kick you where it counts.
Are you happy, now? Of course not. But, hey, nobody told you you had to like what you got -- just live with it. And, since you get to live with it, that puts you ahead of these people, all of whom lost the opportunity to do so, when, on this date in history, they had the curtain brought down on them: Akechi Mitsuhide, Robert Peel, Porfirio Díaz, William Louis Marshall, Andrei Gromyko, Thomas Harriot, Émile Coué, St. Swithun, Joseph Fielding Smith, Ernest Hemingway, Vladimir Nabokov, Mario Puzo, John Cullen Murphy, Franklin Schaffner, Norm Prescott, James Robertson Justice, Fred Gwynne, James Stewart, Gladys Brockwell, Betty Grable, Lee Remick, Elizabeth Spriggs, Ed Delahanty, Glenn "Fireball" Roberts, Michael DiBiase, George McBride, Chick Hafey, Peanuts Lowrey, Nostradamus, John Rogers, Samuel Hahnemann, Joseph Chamberlain, Edward Lawson, Krissy Taylor, Jan Murray,
Beverly "Bubbles" Sills

and Ray Brown.

Check behind you, Orpheus! Not!
Happy birthday, anyway.

Haven't thought of Sills in years. I used to baby-sit for her sister when I was a teenager.
