Cranky Large Medium reading, 9 June

Go away.

What seems to be keeping you? Were you suddenly surrounded by a strange, impenetrable force field binding you to the spot? Why else could it be that you are still here? Oh, but of naturally, you are here for a purpose, and that purpose is to learn... about yourself? From little old moi? Well, I do know quite a bit, and... oh, you want a reading. And, obtaining that would prompt you to leave. I can grow to appreciate that. In fact, I can be very obliging, there. Allow me. Here you are:
You apply charm, grace, and a syrupy disposition. Ecch. You have a keen mind which you should keep more active. Dormancy is unattractive in a wit. You are dogged in your work and determined to accomplish much, none of it is what your employer will deem worth the time or effort. You put on a good show and are popular among the other slow folk.
Are you happy, now? Of course not. That would require that you apply your mind. Well, at least you still have that capability, unlike these people, all of whom, on this date in history, filed their mental applications under "closed": Claudia Octavia, Nero, Gérard Paul Deshayes, Adolf Otto Reinhold Windaus, Camille Guérin, George Wells Beadle, Ephrem the Syrian, St. Columba, Jeanne Marie Bouvier de la Motte Guyon, William Carey, Charles Dickens, Algis Budrys, Taiso Yoshitoshi, Thomas Tomkins, Robert Donat, Alexis Smith, Cyclone Taylor, Rosey Brown, William Grant Stairs, Allen Ludden,
and Claudio Arrau.

Reflect on that.
Happy birthday, anyway.
