I Think I am in L-O-V-E (gratuitous postcard)

Walter E. Williams has written a column which shot a bolt straight to my heart: Silly Talk tackles a few of my greater gripes about journalese as a variant of basic English-language communication -- especially that ever-growing use of "Jim and myself" did whatever (as if my self were doing something for which I'm not invited).

This comes on the heels of my having acquired a copy of Lapsing into a Comma, and finally had a chance to start reading it, only last evening (before the fall). It is such a joy to find others who love and respect words so.
