Maus gets a great big bowlful twice a day (as long as she shows up in Frontporchistan, and not on some foreign soil).
I even give her extra treats, sometimes, which she guards carefully, and with Cattitude.
Initially, one would think she had nothing to worry about, with her comfortable solitude at the bowl, but when one takes a step or two back, one sees she is not alone.
In fact, her companions are seldom satisfied with the kibble they have...
the grass, I suppose, is always greener...
And having a little to oneself usually beats sharing a lot, if you're a sensible cat.
There are, however, others who are sharing their pictures and stories about the critters they know -- stop by Modulator to check out Friday's Ark #129, and on Sunday, be sure to visit the Carnival of the Cats, this week to be hosted at -- will wonders never cease?!-- the Carnival of the Cats homepage, for the first time ever.
So much for sensible. We're in it for the fun.
