According to this from abc news (as referenced by a number of other bloggers, this morning), the FBI has issued an advisory that, two weeks ago, on 29 July, 11 young Egyptian men arrived at JFK International Airport, and from that point on they have simply vanished.
In light of the fact that we are now just over a month away from the 5th anniversary of that nightmarish day in September of 2001, it's nice to think the FBI and ICE are on the job, looking for "students" from a country which has produced many fanatic Muslims who have failed to reach their stated destination.
The names and ages of these 11 missing men have been posted.
Now, I don't know about anybody else, but I'm thinking that simply publishing the names of these guys indicates that somebody at the FBI or ICE is viewing them as naughty boys who just didn't want to go to school right now (yeah. They chickened out of going to vast, icy, rocky, craggy Montana after they saw them tawl bildins in Noo Yark, a la that WWI song. Sure. I believe it. Uh huh.). So, now, how about publishing their pictures, so that America can help find them before something untoward happens, either to the truant "students" or to the rest of this country?
