This comes via Jihad Watch: Terror suspect a 'hero' of London bombings, where it was shown that "moderate" Muslims can be perfectly reasonable:

Ruth Kelly, the minister for communities, yesterday met leaders from the Islamic community who urged her to consider the introduction of "sharia" family law for Muslims in an attempt to prevent them joining extremist groups. The group also asked Ms Kelly for separate public holidays for Muslims.

In other words, do as we say, or the kids will keep blowing you up, and we won't do a thing to stop them.

That sounds like they believe they're making us an offer we can't refuse.

Funny thing, these offers. I keep finding my thumb at my nose every time I hear one of 'em. It's a reflex I can't seem to find the inclination to control.
