Gratuitous postcards: Weekend edition

The folks are packing up for another of their expeditions.

This time, they are sensibly heading north again, toward Superior, WI. I have no idea what they're doing at this Elderhostel program, but they seem pretty gung-ho. Maybe it's just the notion of heading north when our local temps are expected to hit 100 degrees F. (not that it will make that much difference, since the weather channel says the heat spreads all the way up into Canada).

Or maybe it's just the adventure.


I can never tell with those two. They always seem to be happy to get the heck out of Dodge


but equally happy to turn around and come home,
feet numb and head spinning.

And Mom will have at least 300 photos to download and show me. Some fine day, I'll get her to blog a few, I hope. She's a mighty fine photog.
