Marijuana may actually serve as the dreaded "gateway drug" earlier generations labeled it to be -- at least among teenagers. It seems that in immature "teen-aged" rats, the use of cannabis dramatically increased their later susceptibility to opioid addiction, whether it be by abusing heroin or from being given morphine or a derivative by a physician.
I wonder if Gateway Pundit knows about this? Should he worry about other gateways? ;-)
