My friend ex sailorette has been having one helluva year, already. She has a disorder causing the discs in her spine to deteriorate, so, some days she's bedridden with pain, plus she's almost as nuts as I am (she has the benefit of ebing able to medicate on the brain function thing). Add to that, she has the responsibility of watching over her brother's kids while he works at a state job... and she has four wee doggies and lawful custody of a kid or two...
She's had a rough few months, and tells some of it -- just the tip of the iceberg, though.
Needless to say, she doesn't have much opportunity to blog. But she's posted a little bit about her adventures, and we're keeping our fingers crossed that she'll be able to share more. Fortunately, it's a good day to animal blog, & she's posted pix of two of her furry charges, so, maybe she'll get into a steady swing of things post-haste. Meanwhile, if you have any energies to spare, pop in and giver her some support. She can always use a few extra kind words.
