Cruelty against masses still permitted in FL

After much ado (and a bit of contretemps at an earlier athletic event), Dunedin, Florida's high school pep band -- a bunch of bagpipers -- will be allowed to play as usual at their Highland Games. Have they not heard of laws forbidding cruel and unusual punishment? How could they permit these people to squeeze those bags and make pipes squawk like a cat in heat being run over by a vaccuum cleaner? Have they no sense of decency?

Of course, my own college alma mater would never stoop so low...Highlanders

rats. Now I have "Robin Adair" playing in my head, so I need to go pop in a cd worth listening to.

I'm a glutton for pain. ;-)
