We're under a Tornado Watch until 10 p.m., according toWQAD's Weather experts. From the Doppler images, the rumbles I've been hearing for the last half hour are a really spiffy big storm which right now is due south of me... big, mean old red (on the map) cell. I wish I could afford the gas, etc., to become a storm chaser. There's something enticing about the power of a strong storm roaring overhead.
Okay, we've already established I'm nuts. But ya gotta admit, skies that look like the Sloane mural at the Air and Space Museum are awe-inspiring in the literal sense. And, that's what we have out there today.
