"Mini Ice Age" May Be Coming Soon, Sea Study Warns

And not just to a theater near you! According to a report last fall from the National Geographic Society, a "Mini Ice Age" May Be Coming Soon, and it will be caused by... (dramatic music, please)... global warming!

Yes, indeed, the rising temperature of our planet's climate will bring about the dropping temperature of our planet's climate.

One of life's little imponderable leaps of logic, there. Or, are they admitting that the planet is somewhat self-regulating, and we really don't have that much impact upon it, in the long run?

The most recent expert opinion to be published on the potential for another deep freeze, though, came from Khabibullo Abdusamatov of the Pulkovo Astronomic Observatory in St. Petersburg (as cited in this UPI article), who says that the cause of such climatic changes is as plain as the sun in the sky.

If this really happens, and glaciers come moving back through peoples' houses again as they did in the 17th century, I wonder if I have room for my Canadian friends, in the guest rooms?
