Kali the food critic

I put out fresh kibble and water for the feral kids every morning, noon, and night, just the way I'm supposed to do.

Recently, however, the bashful calico twin, Kali, has taken to giving me clear signals of her opinion, where my food prep is concerned.

Not only is she particular about the sort of solid food with which she is presented, she's been giving me clear signals concerning the quality of our local tap water. There is a fresh bowl less than a meter away, and yet she prefers the nearly-frozen, half-fermented kettle of maple-leaf water.

Maple. Sugar. Fermentation. Hmmm. Maybe she's onto something. *hic*

Reminder: don't forget, if you like beasties, to visit Modulator, for Friday's Ark, and if you have felines to share, send pix to the Carnival of the Cats. The New Year of Kitties is going to be opened by Elms in the Yard, who's hosting this weekend's batch.
