According to this from the local ABC affiliate, the State of Illinois spent $6 million to restore the Capitol's ceiling only recently, and it's already dropping chunks on the legislature. Sounds like a ceiling of good sense.
Of course, $6 million for an unsuccessful job sounds like the state-paid contractors my best friend from childhood had, to work on her house last year. (links in reverse chronological order)
