Take Back The Memorial

In case you haven't read any of the sites I link to alongside here (especially Michelle Malkin and LGF), there is a movement afoot to use the site of the WTC to sell the "how we brought 9/11 on ourselves" message. This plan for a memorial, funded in large part by George Soros, is a far cry from the intent of the majority of those families connected to the memorial site -- and is extremely objectionable to the families of those lost heroes (i.e. the firemen, policemen, and others who gave their lives in an effort to save others).

Debra Burlingame, the sister of pilot Charles F. "Chic" Burlingame of flight 77 (which flew into the Pentagon) first heard of Soros & crew's plan, and has since published a letter in the Wall Street Journal objecting to the planned, wilful disregard for the heroes, and has prompted a movement herself, to guarantee the propriety of the memorial be kept. Take Back The Memorial has further information, and I urge you to visit the site, read the details, and send your support to the people who are working for the memory of the true heroes of that day.

Please don't let this hallowed ground become another monument to the "Hate America First" crowd. First and foremost, this patch of land should give us pause to remember the noblest sacrifices, so that we may learn to heal.
