Sometimes, I'm grateful to be a downstater

demonstrating how nanny-state Chicago is becoming, and I guess we should add it to the news that Gateway Pundit had at the conclusion of his Illinois Politics: A Week in Review blog entry, regarding Daley's plans for the local drinking establishments.

So. They're corrupt, slimy, insincere, and otherwise dangerous, Some of their employees get arrested for dealing heroin, some have been taking tax money to do favors for their rich supporters, and between Daley and the Aldermen, they're going to shut down bars and ban Independence Day sparklers... for the good of the community.

Right.
