Dare we continue to hope?

Pro-democracy, pro-reform, pro-freedom demonstrations are taking place all around the globe, this month. The weekend's news from Regime Change Iran, describing a street rally -- in celebration of a soccer win which was also into a peaceful demonstration for freedom from the mullahcracy -- gave me more than goosebumps: "In areas of northern Tehran, people chanted slogans directed at the U.S. administration: 'Bush, Bush, support, protection...'"

So far, the list of countries which have had similar demonstrations demanding reform and/or full democracy includes the following:
Iran
Bahrain
Lebanon
Belarus
Ingush
Kyrgyzstan
North Ossetia (where Beslan is seated)
Mongolia
Zimbabwe

Plus rallies in Taiwan against China's threatened takeover. Good accounts, links provided by Gateway Pundit

There may be more, but I haven't come across references, yet.

Hopefully, some day we'll catch up and have demonstrations here in the U.S. demanding reform and/or full democracy.
