Does she really think that nobody can figure out where she's going with her "we won't cut off funding but if the President sends more troops we'll cut off funding" nonsense?
According to Dan Riehl, even members of her own party are finding it hard to support her. There may be hope for the party, yet. But I'm not banking on it. I'm betting that folks like Steny Hoyer and Joe Biden have hopes for 2008, and they know if they follow Nancy's lead, they're giving up the next three presidencies away.
We can not allow this country to return to the days when our soldiers were spat upon, when our allies were left hanging (literally, in many cases), when "give peace a chance" gave dictators free rein to kill innocents. We can not allow sharia and other manifestations of Islamic fanaticism to take greater hold. We can not allow partisan politics to cost us the little ground civilization has gained.
For somebody who professes to care about innocent women and children the way Pelosi does, she has a funny way of showing it.
