Inspired by a picture of a hat (updated w/postcard)

Having seen John P's photo of himself in his dandy curling cap (see post directly below), I was inspired to search my stack of antique photos -- the ones I bought along with the postcards, last week, at auction -- and I put together a little work, which I've posted here.




Update: Full disclosure -- I have, now, over 220 rare, odd, old and antique hats in my collection, not counting the baseball caps (and I refuse to even attempt to count the baseball caps. Last time I tried it, the adding machine went kaput). Some of them might even pass for serious fashion or collectible pieces, if I wanted to give that a try.
