I have nothing to add

Sorry. Just a little truth offering here. Seems everybody is talking about Pfc.Tucker and Pfc. Manchaca, and what happened to them.

I have no useful new words.

Sadly, as an agnostic, I don't know if a prayer is going to do anything, either. I could toss one into the air, but the force behind it wouldn't frighten a dandelion puff. If somebody else has some clear conviction of faith, perhaps you could give my thoughts and prayers a boost, if only to help the families of these good men.

I lack righteous indignation. I lack cold hard fury. All I have left is the peculiar belief that what our troops do, regardless of how the enemy behaves -- no, because of how the enemy behaves -- our troops must continue doing what they are doing. They must bring al Qaeda to its knees, then to the ground, then beneath it forever. They must show the rest of the world that democracy and freedom are possible for everyone, not just for those on the left who fancy themselves superior.

The lives of Tucker and Manchaca and all the rest must not be squandered.
