Out in Dad's garden, there are some truly remarkable blossoming trees. In the front yard is the pink-blooming – ostensibly ornamental, yet yielding great jelly fruits – crabapple (we pronounce it cruh-BOP-pull).
In the far corner of the back yard is the white-blooming crabapple, also good for jellies.
And then there is, all over the place, the best of all:
Dogwood. Specifically, Clyde.
Springtime does him good.
Don't forget to stop by Modulator, for Friday Ark!
