Locals eat worms and minnows

According to our small-town rag, that is. Relevant quote (emphasis added):
MONMOUTH - Everyone who has been battling for funding for U.S. Highway 34 is waiting with baited-breath to see if the first capital bill in years in Illinois passes.

Um. Stacey. When you're holding your breath, it's not "baited," it's "bated" -- as in abated. But I won't hold my breath for corrections.

This should be noted by the many others who can't tell the difference between worm-eating and breathless-with-anticipation, as well. Some of you even know who you are.
