The denizens of Frontporchistan usually have a very nice reservoir or two of fresh drinking water -- I leave a bunch of pans and pots out beneath the eaves to catch the rains. Unfortunately, the latter half of June and the first half of July were pretty dry
so they suffered, with me, to drink Monmouth's tap water more often than not.
Fortunately, we had a little rain this past week, so there's enough to go around, again
and they don't have to be quite so defensive as they make their ways to the old watering hole.
They can just relax and enjoy the fresh clean taste of leafy water and let happiness ripple outward.
Thirsting for more beasties? Visit Modulator for Friday Ark #148, and be sure to look for the Carnival of the Cats, Sunday evening.
