The Kill Point plays like an updated "Dog Day Afternoon": Iraq War veterans bungle a Pittsburgh bank robbery and haggle over their escape with negotiator Donnie Wahlberg (below, left). John Leguizamo (below, right), who stars as the lead hostage taker, believes his show is as potent as the Al Pacino film: "It's endemic of what happens when veterans come home. It's so hard to know who your enemy is."I know all the veterans I've ever met have been forced, by dint of their military experience and subsequent difficulty in finding acceptance in this land, to become failed bank robbers who have to take hostages in order to negotiate for their escape. It is, after all, endemic.
