I just got back from spending the day with my friend Jeanne. We're a bad influence on each other... we spent entirely too long salivating over artists' supplies at the Dick Blick warehouse outlet store in Galesburg. If you're even remotely inclined toward art, a place like that, where you can buy some items for 10% of the original price (e.g. a $189.00 painter's kit was $18.89), and everything is at least 25% off catalog list... well, let's just say it's more dangerous to us than a strip club is to most healthy young men...
But we went to a few other places, as well, so I haven't been afforded much opportunity to check mail, read the news, or blog.
