I just learned that yesterday was the last day in the life of one of my favorite actors, Jack Palance.
There's a really nice tribute to him at the WaPo, even if it does forget to mention his service to America during WWII. He was a movie villain, but a real-life patriot.
Pardon me, now, if I go home and watch him chew scenery in Shane, once more.
