Thousands... Rally outside UN

Two similar headlines, two simultaneous events:
Thousands of Israel Supporters Rally for Release of Kidnapped Soldiers
and
Thousands Demonstrate Outside U.N. Against War

Note the substantial difference between this, in the NY Sun,
tens of thousands of supporters of Israel gathered across the street from United Nations headquarters to protest President Ahmadinejad of Iran

And this, from Reuters:
about 2,000 anti-Iraq war protesters chanted "Peace can work, no more war" half an hour before President Bush spoke.

The "Thousands" in the Sun article were actually estimated by police to number roughly 35,000 ("thousands", therefore, a legit description of the crowd), with speakers of the quality of Elie Wiesel, Alan Dershowitz, NY's Governor Pataki, and Foreign Minister Livni, among others...
Among New York's elected officials who came out to show their support for Israel but did not appear on stage were Republican candidate for Governor John Faso, Republican candidate for Attorney General Jeanine Pirro, State Comptroller Alan Hevesi, and more than half a dozen City Council members.
The non-event covered by Reuters, wnbc, and many others does seem to somewhat eclipse the actual, grand-scale event they missed just right around the block...

And thus, the fantasy that the moon is greater and more important than the sun continues.
