Monmouth, IL's armory stood proud Sunday, and I guess I missed it... nevertheless, even without my presence, the 444th Chemical Company, a detachment of 135th Chemical Company, got booted up out of carrier status and into active status with a Change of Command ceremony.
It's nice to know something in my hometown is fully functional and federally recognized.
I doff my hat to y'all! (I'd salute, but I'm a sissy civilian.)
