23 killed in German train crash

According to BBC online, 23 have died and 10 were injured as a maglev train hit a maintenance vehicle on the line.

The track was new, essentially a regional test line, and the majority of those who were riding this train were reportedly "employees working on the rail system and staff from a local utility company".

We at this house extend our condolences to the families of those who were killed, and our thoughts and prayers (insufficient though they likely are) go out to the injured.
