FOX News journalist Steve Centanni and his cameraman Olaf Wiig are still missing, after having been kidnapped in Gaza a week ago. It seems to me, and to Michelle Malkin, that this silence on the MSM is not such a good thing.
The MSM can spend hour after hour on some creep's confession to the murder of a pretty blonde girl 10 years ago, but have nothing to say about a pair of their own colleagues whose lives are right now threatened?
Like the case of Jill Carroll, it won't just go away if you ignore it -- in fact, there is every chance that publicity will bring it to a satisfactory resolution more swiftly than the current walking-on-eggshells approach. A little judicious pressure here, a returned captive there...
Why are the MSM so quiet, now? Would they be this way if the abductees were, say, Katie Couric and Mike Wallace?
Update: Captain Ed Morrissey has some more good thoughts on this.
