Okay, this really is a shocker, to me. ABC actually reported something honest and good this morning, in its Iraq coverage. I about fell off my perch when I heard the report that "violence has been reduced in Baghdad and some of its surrounding cities" with the increase in US troop activities. It seems that the number of attacks on US soldiers and on Iraqi civilians had actually fallen after we went in and cleaned house. But anybody who had been reading the online news (often as linked by ">Gateway Pundit) already knew that, over a week ago.
The cool thing is, before ABC tore it all apart by featuring John McCain running his mouth about how badly the administration is running things, the network actually had something positive to show for its reporting efforts. And, for a brief, shining moment, they showed a spot of genuine support for the troops.
