Some days it only seems natural to think that we learned to harness heat and have it do our bidding, as with the John Bull Engine first built in 1830.
If only we could harness the heat from the highways, today, I think we could probably at least get to Mars.
My bestest friend is coming home from Chicago, today. I hope the roads don't buckle underneath her car, from all the heat, the way WQAD says they did near Andalusia (they have video, too, I gather, but with my slow modem, I'm not going there).
If you're on the road in this heat, please be careful.
