Bush in Iraq!

He was just in the neighborhood of Baghdad and thought he'd drop in.

I'm sorry. I very much want to giggle. Dubya threw everybody for a loop by "retiring for the evening" and hopping aboard AF1 while nobody was looking (okay, a few guys in uniform were aware. I don't think they'd let him pilot himself, these days). He went to Iraq to congratulate Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki on his new government and celebrate the positive changes which have occurred of late (like the demise of that Jordanian mass-murderer). Iraq's PM had five minutes warning of the POTUS's arrival. Dang, not hardly enough time to sweep the rug in the foyer!

This, in conjunction with the failure of Fitzmas to arrive must make the Kos kids just foam.
I should be ashamed of myself, for my schadenfreude. But can it be purely that? I'm actually, genuinely pleased with my President, today.

Maybe it's lack of sleep.

tehee.
