For years, our family has had a saying which always amuses Mom and me... I've finally come across what may be the earliest trace of the thing on record:


I bought the above postcard (circa 1950) (yes, that's all it is -- a tacky little postcard) at an auction last year, & finally got around to scanning it for the files. I reckon it should be framed & set to hanging on a living room wall.
