GO SEE UNITED 93

I just got back from having seen the movie. I can't really add anything about United 93 to what I've posted in the header, above, but I can say, everything I'd heard already was right. It's a must-see movie.

Moreover, even though I went at the supper-hour "matinee", when the seats are slightly cheaper, I was pleased to see the cinema was not empty, as is so often the case. It wasn't jam-packed, I admit, but the crowd was respectable and respectful. At the end of the movie, I saw some jaded seventeen-ish young men wiping their eyes, and some of the older men were putting their caps back on their heads, having removed them toward the end of the film. I guess that gesture of respect is not gone, yet.

There is one thing, I suppose, that must be pointed out about the release of this movie: It was absolutely NOT too soon.

I am glad I saw it this weekend.
