Scott Johnson at Power Line has a truly worthy salute to my favorite American, in Remembering Mr. Lincoln.
We, here, in Illinois, have no trouble remembering the man's presence and his deeds. But Mister Lincoln was also eloquent beyond measure, as a small sample of his work in Scott's post demonstrates. I only hope that more will remember his words. They are worthy of immortality.
