While Mom is away visiting her grandkids in the vicinity of D.C., I've taken the liberty of stealing some of her bandwidth. We set her up with a Flickr account a month or so ago, and, so far, she has pretty much studiously avoided going public with the many lovely photos she has taken (she and Dad go to a lot of scenic elderhostels, and she has a discerning eye).
So, since Mom's not posting her stuff this month, I thought I'd invite everybody to take a Christmas peek at a book I wrote & illustrated for my nephew when he was still too young to be embarrassed by the strange old Auntie. The portraits in the story are, indeed, members of our family.
The piece is called
, and I hope you enjoy it.
