What's going on?

I'm a bit distracted, today. Usually, on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, I'm deeply involved in the process of producing my weekly column for the Daily Review Atlas, but I've gotten lazy this week, and opted to raid my archives for a pre-thanksgiving message. Meanwhile, Ira Smolensky's column went into print this afternoon, and I felt obliged to post it on my other blog.

Some days, I despair of the faculty at my alma mater ever returning to a rational balance. So far, I've spoken to only a scant handful on campus who have even the remotest clue why I would have problems with a small Scottish Presbyterian school paying Ayers to come tell his tales. And I thought I'd been fairly clear in my columns.
