And, on the topic of train wrecks...

Metra clears engineer after re-enactment. It was the fault of the idiots who stopped their cars, in slow-moving traffic, right on the busy tracks. And Homeland Security has the video to prove it.

A reminder, from our high school driver's ed class: DO NOT STOP ON TRACKS! Leave at least one and a half car lengths between you and the tracks, if possible, while waiting to cross. And don't give the finger to the guy (or stupid broad, if you're thinking that) who keeps that kind of space while you're trying to hurry home. He's probably the guy who will guarantee you get home.
