The good news, a partial list of countries which have made offers of aid, is here at lgf.
Even France and Germany seemed to be less than grudging in their offers. Most countries have very little to offer us, comparatively, but it is a good thought. The offers should be received in the spirit in which they were brought forth. Even many of our traditional emenies have stood up for our southern waterfront.
O' course, we don't expect the hardline anti-American Iran, NoKo, or NYC to be much help.
