According to
this blog from the Stockholm Spectator, one ex-hostage has found a satisfactory response to his ordeal. Ulf Hjertström has hired bounty hunters to "take care of" his kidnappers -- with some success already. And, rather than citing revenge as his reason, he says, “I just want the people of Baghdad to feel safe on the streets.”
