Tomorrow will be a busy day for me

Tomorrow (Wednesday) morning, my best friend Mari Hauge and a group of her friends and family will be performing selected music at the Buchanan Center for the Arts, in downtown Monmouth, at 10 o'clock. Since (a) she's my best friend, and (b) she's an amazingly expressive cellist, I plan to be there with bells on, so to speak. I get the bonus of hearing the warm tones of baritone vocalist Lionel Marcoux perform a few chansons, as well...

If you're in town tomorrow, drop in at the BCA.

Or, if you can't make it to the little concert in the morning, check out Monmouth College, come eventide. At 7 pm, Mike Adams will be speaking at Finley Lecture Hall. It took a lot of work for the Campus Republicans to get him here, and it would be nice if we could give him an SRO reception.

Even if you aren't able to attend, I encourage you to read more of Dr. Adams's works at Townhall.com.
